Julia Ormond

JuliaOrmond was the daughter of Josephine, a lab technician as well as John Ormond (a stockbroker) located in Epsom, Surrey. Ormond is the second of five children to her parents. Her early performances in Guys and Dolls and My Fair Lady attracted attention. She then attended Cranleigh School and Guildford High School. After one year in arts college, she transferred to Webber-Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. She graduated in 1988. Ormond was first seen on British television in 1989's serial Traffik. This series focused on the illegal heroin trade which was carried out from the middle of the East to Europe. Ormond was the heroin-addicted kid of the main character the Home Office minister working to stop heroin imports. This early role won glowing reviews.
