Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding is a British singer and songwriter. Her birth name is Elena Jane Goulding on 30 December, 1986 in Hereford. Ellie Goulding, a British singer-songwriter who rose to fame in 2010, when her smash songs Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed caught public attention. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has been at the cutting edge as are Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap, of mainstream contemporary music, and independent, artistic pop. Her soprano voice as well as her ability to write emotionally authentic songs are what make her stand out. Polydor Records, a major music label, chose to sign Goulding and was preparing to release Goulding's debut album.
