Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding born on December 30, 1986 in Hereford, England) is an English singer-songwriter. Ellie Goulding rose quickly to the top of her game with her electronic pop style after she drew the public's attention by releasing "Starry Eyed,"" as well as "Guns and Horses" in 2010. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has been at the cutting edge as are Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap of popular contemporary music as well as independent arty pop. Her soprano voice and ability to write emotionally authentic songs make her distinct. Polydor Records, a major music label, signed the singer and began preparations to release her debut album.
