Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding, 30 December 1986, in Hereford, England) is a English singer-songwriter. Ellie Goulding, a British artist and singer, gained notoriety in 2010, when her smash singles Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed attracted the attention of the public. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. The soprano's quirk and her ability to write catchy but emotional songs put her at the forefront for modern mainstream music, along with an independent and artful pop. Polydor Records signed her to a record label deal and she started preparing for the launch of her debut album.
