Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England) She is an English artist and singer. Ellie Goulding, a British artist and singer, gained notoriety in the year 2010 when her smash singles Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed caught public attention. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding is a standout contemporary musician with her distinctive soprano voice, and her talent in creating songs that are catchy and emotional. She's akin to Kate Bush, Imogen Heap and other artists similar to her. Polydor Records signed her to one of their record labels and she was preparing the debut album.
